​Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Engineered Metal Building Detailing Lead /Estimator to join our team. This role requires expertise in Metal Building Software (MBS), detailing software (such as AutoCAD), and modeling software (such as Tekla). The ideal candidate will be tasked in producing accurate and high-quality building layouts, detailed drawings, bill-of-materials (BOM), and estimates for pre-engineered metal building projects. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and efficiency of our projects, supporting our reputation for excellence in metal building solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the detailing and estimation processes for pre-engineered metal building projects.

Develop comprehensive building drawings, shop drawings, and bill-of-materials (BOM) to meet all project and client requirements.

Create preliminary drawings and bill of materials for pricing to support the sales team.

Create final drawings, shop details, and bill of materials for fabrication to support the project management team.

Utilize Metal Building Software (MBS) for preliminary design and layout development, ensuring efficient and accurate project estimates.

Final design will undergo review and approval by the BRG Engineering Team.

Create, review, and revise AutoCAD drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project and client requirements and company standards.

Employ 3D modeling software, such as Tekla, to develop structural models that enhance project accuracy and visualization.

Collaborate closely with the engineering, sales, and project management teams to ensure projects and estimates meet project and client requirements.

Conduct project reviews, verifying that all detailing and estimating components are compliant with project and client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture is not required but is considered a plus.

10+ years of experience in pre-engineered metal building detailing and estimation, with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.

Fewer years of experience are acceptable if the candidate has previously led a detailing team.

Proficiency in Metal Building Software (MBS), detailing software (such as AutoCAD) and 3D modeling software (such as Tekla).

Strong understanding of structural steel and metal building systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and engage in client meetings.

Knowledge of relevant estimating and detailing standards, and industry best practices.

Ability to manage multiple estimating and detailing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Structural Engineer/Consultant (Hybrid Role)
Company: Blast Resource Group, LLC.
Location: Houston or San Antonio, TX
Position Summary:
We are looking for a creative and motivated structural engineer who can support our Structural Engineering group with blast-resistant building design projects. The candidate should have solid industry experience and/or academic coursework in structural design (steel, concrete, and masonry), structural modeling, and connection design. While experience in designing structures for extreme loads is preferred, Blast Resource Group (BRG) will train you in this area. Experience with structural analysis software (SAP2000 or similar), finite element analysis (LS-DYNA or similar), and AutoCAD is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will also have experience designing blast-resistant metal building systems and familiarity with relevant design guidance documents for petrochemical facilities, such as:

Your role initially will be to provide support and lead individual tasks for our ongoing blast building design efforts. You will also be required to interact with clients and manage small tasks or projects. We will provide opportunities and encouragement for you to develop your technical skills and to grow into project management, marketing, and business development – based on your interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform specific engineering tasks assigned by project managers. Typical tasks will require knowledge of structural engineering principles. Advanced techniques will require knowledge/learning of nonlinear design of construction materials including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, etc.

Conduct nonlinear blast response analysis, develop structural design concepts, prepare design specifications, and review structural drawings and numerical calculations.
-
Create, review, and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project and client requirements and company standards.
-
Collaborate closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure projects meet project and client requirements.
-
Write engineering summary reports and develop calculation packages.
Qualifications and Skills:

BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required (MS preferred).

5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, including experience with developing Structural Drawing packages (plans, elevations, details).

Familiarity with commercial structural analysis software such as SAP 2000 or finite element modeling
-
Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

PE and/or SE licensure is preferred but not required.

Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.

Willingness to travel 25%-30% of the time.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee general construction and Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PMEB) projects. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, technical knowledge of metal building systems and conventional construction, and the ability to coordinate effectively with owners, designers, fabricators, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver successful projects.​​

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Analysis: Review customer and vendor contracts against project plans, specifications, and addenda to ensure alignment and accuracy.

Project Accounting Coordination: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of project receivables, payables, and profit margins.

Purchasing Management: Act as a purchasing agent for multiple vendors, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services required for the project while adhering to budget parameters.

Submittals Management: Review, coordinate, and manage project submittals to ensure compliance with contract documents and timelines.

Request for Information (RFI) Management: Review, organize, and gather responses to internal and external RFIs, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of inquiries.

Project Scheduling: Manage and monitor project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

Delivery Coordination: Manage project deliveries, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and components.

Coordination and Reporting: Provide regular updates and reporting to the PM Director to ensure alignment of project goals, progress, and challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years of experience in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) as a project coordinator, project manager, or a related role is a PLUS or PREFERRED.

Experience in General Construction as Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer is a PLUS or PREFERRED.
-
Strong knowledge of PEMB systems, including intermediate knowledge of PEMB design and detailing concepts, contracts, drawings, specifications, and project management processes.

Experience in blast and protective PEMB projects is not required but will be considered a plus.

Expertise in reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience coordinating with accounting teams for project-related financials is a plus.

Proven ability to manage RFIs, vendor relationships, and delivery logistics effectively.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is not required but will be considered a plus.
